GERMAN FEST IN CONNECTION WITH GERMAN UNITY DAY

The third semester students of SCAS conducted a German Fest on 27-09-21 at 3.15 pmto commemorate the reunification of erstwhile West Germany and East Germany.  The programme was anchored by Anna Grace of third semester Psychology.  The welcome speech was given by Bharath Krishna of third semester English.The event was inaugurated by the executive director of SCAS, Rev. Dr. DevisChenginiyadan.  Principal, Dr. Mathew Paul, Father Davis Kannampuzha and Ms. Savithri M. Asst. Professor, SCAS, felicitated the event. In their address, Rev. Fr. DevisChenginyadan enlightened the students with a brief history of Germany and its culture.  Father Davis Kannampuzha also shed light into the traditions and culture and advantages of studying in Germany.  Asst. Professor Savithri M. appreciated the students for their effort to conduct the program which included a brief information about Germany and German, skits, songs and a poem by the great poet and writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.  The programme ended with a note of thanks by Agnes C J of third semester Physics.
