As part of the German unity day celebration, the Western Eastern Language Department, conducted German assembly on Tuesday, 15 October 2024. Assembly was led by German students of SCAS, under the guidance of German class animators Fr.Dr. Davis Kannampuzha and Mr. Mayjoybastian K G .The whole assembly was conducted in German language with English translation. Anchoring was done by Ms Bipina Paul (II BSC Psychology). Merrin Babu (III BBA), Glady Baiju (III BBA), Megha Biju (II BCA), and Elsa Prince (BSc CS) did the prayer song. Ms Feba Thambi (II BSc.Psychology ) carried out Bible reading and translation. Ms Aryananda A R (II BSc.Psychology) and Ms Hayat Sultana (II BSc.Psychology) read the thought for the day and word of the day respectively. Mr. Caine Benoy (B.Com) shared amazing facts.
Fr.Dr. Davis Kannampuzha conversed with the students about German culture and traditions.
The German unity day celebration gave the students an opportunity to know more about German culture. The quotes and facts presented had positive impact on the overall mood of everyone present .The morning assembly undoubtedly contributed to setting a vibrant and positive tone for the rest of that day.
