PG Department of psychology organized a seminar on biological basis of behavior on October 9th 2023 as a part of mental health day celebration. Dr Dave Augustine Akkara, OFM Cap, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry, JMMCRI, Thrissur was the resource person. The session took place at seminar hall, started at 2.30 pm and ended at 4pm. Faculties of department of psychology, UG and PG psychology students attended the seminar. During the session he talks about various areas of psychology and how it influence to the growth of physiological antecedents in psychology and how this physiology (like brain , neurotransmitter ) affects ones personality as well as ones mental condition etc. The session was informative and insightful and as given a wider perspective on how brain influence behavior and cognition .
