As part of the Hindi Day celebration, the Western Eastern Language Department conducted Hindi Assembly on 27th September 2023. Assembly started with Hindi prayer. Sreenandana Sreeraju, a student of 1st Semester BCom ACCA, recited the Bhagavat Gita. Ardra Baiju, a student of the 3rd semester of BCom Professional, introduced a new Hindi word with its meaning. Gladwin P. S. 1st Semester BCom CMA A US student spoke about the importance of hard work as today’s thought. Harinarayanan U, student of 1st Semester BBA, told about the importance of Hindi Language. As part of the Independence Day Celebrations, Executive Director Rev.Dr.Devis Chenginiyadan awarded prizes to Anjali Anand (3rd Sem Bcom Professional), who secured the first prize, Sreehari P C (5th Sem BCom), who secured the second prize, and Yamyny Vijay (3rd Sem BSc Computer Science), who secured the third prize in the Hindi speech competition. Additionally, Principal Dr. K L Joy distributed prizes to Soyal Soy (3rd Sem BBA), who secured the first prize, Nandana Sreekanth (3rd Sem Psychology), who secured the second prize, and Jisna Jabir (1st Sem BA English), who secured the third prize in the Hindi movie song competition held as part of Hindi Day celebrations. Executive Director, Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, delivered a message to students. After that, the principal informed the students about the start dates of the university exams for the odd semester. The Assembly concluded with the national anthem. The assembly was anchored by Anjali Anand, 3rd semester BCom Professional student.
