IIC in collaboration with IQAC conducted an “IDEATHON” innovation contest for our students
with a declaration of cash awards. 10 groups of each having 4 members registered for the
competition through our IIC mail and the last date for the registration was on 24/11/2023. From
that we shortlisted 7 teams for the final presentation which was on 11/12/2023 and we awarded
first and second prize .The different ideas were easy attendance marking for the teachers using
apps,block chain waste management system, an app for unemployment for remote areas etc.The
students presented it well and it was judged by faculty from commerce, IT and management
departments.There were some IIC members as audience and they also got motivated by the
presentation and interactive session.The first prize was awarded to first year ACCA batch who
brought the idea of removing unemployment from remote areas by using an app and the second
prize was easy marking of attendance of students which can save teachers teaching hours.
