On 30th July 2021 the Department of Psychology and IQAC conducted a webinar on “Impact of Pandemic on Interpersonal Relationship” through Google meet online virtual platform. The webinar was conduded from 2pm to 3.30 pm. The meeting started with a prayer by Ms.Jinsha of 1st year M.Sc.Clinical Psychology. Welcome speech was delivered by Ms.Avlin Pauly of 2nd year B.Sc Psychology. Executive Director of SCAS, Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan inaugurated the webinar and gave a briefing of the situations that we are facing these days of pandemic and the relevance of the webinar for the betterment of the relationships. Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken,Principal, gave the presidential address. Ms.Anna Prince of 1st year M.Sc. Psychology introduced the chief guest.The Vice Principals, IQAC Co-ordinator and NAAC Co-ordinator joined the webinar via online measures. The chief guest Mr. S.Satheese, the Director of Relationship Foundation, Thrissur, discussed about the values of maintaining relationships and tips for improvising relationships between family members even during the pandemic situation. At the end the webinar,a discussion session ensued. Ms.Jisna Joby of 3rd year B.Sc. Psychology gave the vote of thanks representing the Department of Psychology to the chief guest and all the participants of the webinar. Dr. Varghese Paul K, HOD of Department of Psychology expressed his special gratitude towards Mr.S.Satheese.In total, 90 participants attended the webinar and E-certificates were provided to all participants who attended the session in its entirety. The program was co-ordinated by Ms. Angela of 1st year M.Sc. Psychology alongside the faculty of the department of Psychology and IQAC. The participants gave a very positive feedback regarding the theme of the webinar and its presentation by the speaker.The webinar was deemed fruitful by most who participated.
