The Department of Mathematics organized an online quiz, INDIAN MATHEMATICS QUIZ, on behalf of the Independence Day programs, based on Indian Mathematicians, their works and contributions and current affairs related to the field of Mathematics. Registration link for the quiz was given online through brochures and social media. 331 participants enrolled for the quiz. The registration closed on 14th August, 2020. The quiz was conducted online through Google forms at 3.00 p.m. on 15th August, 2020. Due to network issues, some participants couldn’t successfully submit the quiz. Hence the quiz was conducted once again at 8.00 p.m. on the same day, for those who couldn’t submit the first time. 193 participated in the quiz. Automatically generated certificates were issued for participation. The toppers for the quiz are:
