Inauguration of VIVIFICA 2021-22

The induction programme for the academic year 2021-22 was held on 1st October 2021.The students were allowed to login from 9.15 to 9.30 am. It started with the invocation and the welcome address was done by Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken, Principal, SCAS. He extended a very cordial welcome to all the dignitaries of the function. His Excellency Mar Pauly Kannookadan, Bishop of Irinjalakuda and also the Chairman of IDET did the inaugural speech invoking the blessings of the Almighty for a successful academic year amidst the Pandemic. Followed by the speech of the Bishop, Rev. Fr. Msgr. Joy Paliakara delivered the presidential address and wished every success for the new academic year and pledged full support to the college in fulfilling its aim to educate thousands of students.
The key note address was delivered by renowned IFS Officer shri. T P Sreenivasan. He spent more than half an hour interacting with the students and his speech was a wonderful exhibition of his thoughts on India and its foreign relations. He exhorted the student community to be vigilant always and work for the progress of the nation.
Followed by the speech of Shri T P Sreenivasan,Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive Director, SCAS spoke about the World of Sahrdaya, inviting all students to be active participants of the fulfilment of the vision and mission of the college. He advised the students about the good practices to be cultivated in the college, envisaging the role of each one to be played for the better future of the college in general and students in particular.
Dr. rani M J, Vice Principal explained the life at SCAS to the students and stressed the need of having a good conduct and behaviour for the smooth conduct of the classes. She also briefed the students on various attributions of the college and the code of conduct to be followed by each member in the college.
Dr. Biju Thomas, PTA Vice President spoke about the role of parents in supporting the academics for the future of every student. It was from the perspective of a parent. He also extended full support to the college and it’s all activities keeping in view of the secure future of all stakeholders in the process of learning.
Ms. Ayesha A N, an ex-student of SCAS spoke about her wonderful experience in the college and expressed her word of appreciation to the entire teaching and non- teaching fraternity of Sahrdaya for moulding her bright future and wished the same to all students of the college. Her exuberance of verbosity while speaking about SCAS was an example of a student`s gratitude towards the institution for bringing the student community up to reach their destiny through determination and righteousness. Her testimony of success was indeed an eye opener for all students in the college.
A virtual tour of Sahrdaya was presented to the students to make them aware of the college and its wonderful amenities that are available to the students for use while at college and the various departments, library, sports arena, medical facility, study areas, canteen and so on. It was a treat to watch the enormous facilities the college is providing for the overall development of students.
