Institution’s Innovation Council
Institution’s Innovation Council is an envisioned encouraging creation by Ministry of Education’s (MoE) Innovation Cell (MIC), Govt. of India to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the Institution through multitudinous modes, leading to an innovation promotion ecosystem in the campuses.
Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara also established the IIC in the academic year 2020-’21 to promote Innovation and Entrepreneurship among students and faculty members and to prepare them with skills like critical thinking, design thinking, innovative thought process, and entrepreneurial mindset.
Major Focus
To create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem
Start-up supporting mechanism in HEIs
Prepare institute for Atal Ranking of institutions on innovation achievements framework
Establish function ecosystem for scouting ideas and pre-incubation of ideas
Develop better cognitive ability among students
VISION
To empower the students and faculty members of the college in order to achieve self-sufficiency in this highly competitive world by nurturing their innovative ideas and promoting start-ups and entrepreneurship ventures.
MISSION
To organize IIC-prescribed activities along with the help of expert representatives and advisories to accomplish the vision of the Institution’s Innovation Council.
