The world is facing many crises, ranging from geopolitical conflicts to soaring poverty levels and the escalating impact of climate change. These challenges can only be addressed by solutions that empower women. By investing in women, we can ignite change and hasten the transition towards a healthier, safer, and more equitable world for all.Women’s day is celebrating internationally on 8th March every year. The theme for International Women’s Day 2024 is “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress.
The Department of Human Excellence conducted a half-day session regarding the campaign theme ‘Inspire Inclusion’ on 7th March 2024 at 1.30 pm in the Aulo Magna. Ms. Adilakshmi, of II BA Malayalam, warmly welcomed everyone to the programme. Ms. Caroline presented an outline of the Women’s Day celebration, followed by a group discussion on inspiring inclusion, during which the group leader shared their views and points. The 4 groups were managed by the HED staff, Ms. Namitha, Ms.Arya, Ms. Rosalind and Ms.Reshmi. Selected students expressed the ‘Influenced Women Personality’ in their lives. The session ended at 3.30 PM with the vote of thanks by Ms.Niranjana, II BBA.
