“Investor Awareness – A key to financial wellbeing”

Department of Management Studies, hosted a webinar on the topic “Investor Awareness – A key to financial wellbeing”, in association with Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on 26th November 2020, Thursday at 10am. The resource person for the session was Mr. Anandhu K Shaji, Deputy Manager – NSE.

The session began by 10.00am with a silent prayer and welcome address delivered by Asst.Prof. Savio Francis Fernandez (HoD, Department of Management Studies). The speaker explained the importance of starting investment early and various options as well as schemes for investment available in the securities market. Speaker also spread glance on stock trading mechanism in our country for a better understanding.

The session was very interactive and critic for a better understanding of the new investment options. The webinar was concluded by a formal vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Afiya Sagir – 1st Year BBA (Department of Management Studies)

Conduct of Webinar

The invitation for webinar was circulated among various social media platforms along with Google registration form. 62 participant’s registered in the event and 55 participants actively attended the webinar. Webinar was hosted in Google meet platform and further communications were done through participants e-mail.

After the webinar the participants were issued feedback forms through chat box where by the participants will get e-certificate on submitting the feedback form. In general the feedback mentions that overall conduct and webinar was a grand success and participants assured to participate in future webinars organised by the department.
