In connection with National Science Day, on February 28, 2022, the Department of Physics, along with other science departments of SCAS organized ‘Photography competition’ and ‘Movie review writing contest’. Registration was done with Google forms.
The theme of the Photography competition was “Can you find Physics in nature?. Students were asked to send their entries on or before February 27, 2022. The winners of the competition are:
First – Mimsi Mubarak ( 3rd BSc Physics)
Second – Amrithes P ( 1st. BSc Chemistry)
Third – Christeena Thankachan ( 1st MSc Psychology )
The movie review contest was also open to all the students of SCAS. The theme of the contest was “Your fictional vision”. The candidates were directed to send the review of a science fiction movie through email. The result of the competition is as follows:
First – Nandhana S L ( 1st BSc Physics)
Second – Neha Nair ( 2nd MSc Clinical Psychology)
Third – Sreyas Krishna ( 2nd BSc Computer science)
The prizes for the competition were given at the official meeting of the SPECTRA- 2022 on March 2, 2022.
