Department of Social Work organized National Study Tour to Kolkata, West Bengal for Fourth Semester MSW Students as a part of their Programme Curriculum from 25th February to 8th March 2024. The national study tour intended to familiarize social welfare agencies and developmental projects of social work setting and to gain knowledge on roles and functions of social worker in those settings. This year, the department visited six agencies and they are as follows:
- Goonj , Topsia road
- New Light, Kalighat
- Paripurnata Halfway Home, Pancha Sayar
- Society For People’s Awareness, Bidhannagar
- Durbar Mahila Samanwaya Committee, Beniatola
- Hope Kolkata Foundation, Ballygunge
