Department of Social Work organised a poster exhibition on Mental Health in Movies and Mental Health Tree as a part of World Mental Health in order to create awareness on Mental Health issues in the commuity. Street Play named ‘velicham’ was performed at Aloor and Kodakara on the theme of Mental Health as a Universal Human Right on 12th October 2023.
Celluloid – Mental Health in Movies – a discussion was conducted for PG students on 13th October 2023. A short video of Malayalam movies based on mental health issues was screened and discussion was held on myths and misconceptions of mental illness in community.
