One day Internship at Courtyard Marriot Airport Hotel

A one day internship for 6th semester BBA (2020 -2023) batch was SMART on Wednesday,30th November 2022. The objective of the programme was to make the students acquainted to personality etiquettes, social networking etiquettes and dining etiquettes. The duration of theprogramme was from 10.00am to 2.30pm. The session was held at Courtyard Marriot airport hotel,nedumbassery. The trainer for the day was Mr. Naveen Dogra – Operations Manager – Courtyard Marriot.The internship started with a welcome address by Mr. Naveen Dogra, Operations Manager and followed by the training session. The total number of students attended the programme was 39 and 2
faculty members (Ms.Sneha Sasidharan and Mr. Savio Francis Fernandez). The student community was divided into 6 teams for a more effective learning environment. The session was very interactive with hands on experience in dining etiquettes and students were able to understand the modalities social networking, personality and dining in a professional manner. The internship session was concluded by 2.30pm with vote of thanks by Savio Francis Fernandez, Assistant Professor and the attendees were issued with certificates from the trainer. The programme
cost was 1500/ head GST inclusive, Rs.1000/head – was contributed from Sahrdaya college and Rs. 500/head was contributed from the students. The programme was highly beneficial for the students in respect to professional career development.
