Placement Cell

Let’s Find Your Career Space”

“Choose a job you love; and you won’t have to work a day in your life”.

Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, since its inception, has been tirelessly striving to provide the best to each and every student.  Department of Human Excellence (HED) which has an Add–on Training division, exclusively for providing placement-related training sessions, is a unique feature of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies. A team of placement coordinators design and execute placement training and prepare our students to prove their best in recruitment programmes.

Aiming at sharpening the language skills of our students, from the very first year of their admission, students are given training in Communicative English, with the help of specially designed Quest Application modules, in a well set up language laboratory. Certificate programmes like PET are also provided in collaboration with Cambridge University.

In addition to this, the placement team reaches out and invites institutions of merit, to hold their pre-recruitment and recruitment sessions in our campus. Infosys, Wipro and TCS, and a number of other firms recruited our students as trainees during the academic year 2019-2020. As part of our CSR initiative, we could organize a MEGA JOB FAIR in August 2019, in which around 30 companies opened up various positions for more than 1000 aspirants and placed around 700 of them. Goan Institute International Consociation of Education(GICE), a firm that has operations across South India in the educational sector, recruited our students as Soft skill Faculty Trainees. A number of other firms are considering Sahrdaya a promising hub from where they can find the best skill set to fulfill their demands

TCS LIP

TCS iON provides the backbone for delivering skills in a ‘Phygital model’, where trainers and physical classrooms are combined with digital technology to give students access to quality, educational content anywhere, any time, and on any device. The Training Room will roll out an enhanced version of its own courses on the new platform, starting with health and fitness and personal training courses, followed by IT courses. The platform will also host content from many other educational and professional institutions covering a vast range of work-related learning opportunities.

For students at all stages of their career, the platform will be a gateway to courses, aptitude tests, discussion groups, mentors, gurus, job boards, careers advice, recruitment assessments, in-company training, CPD, social networks, and links to real-life encounters and events.

For corporate employers, The Training Room’s new platform will be a place to host training and learning resources under their own brand, overcoming the capacity limitations of other third-party learning management systems.

The platform, which uses content delivery network technology, is an integrated solution for the end-to-end management of a learner’s journey. From enrolment to course subscriptions to self-assessments to social collaboration and live interaction: all can be provided in one ecosystem.
