On September 22nd, 2021, the Department of Psychology, Prajyoti Niketan
College, Pudukad in association with Ansar College, Perumpilavu, Sahrdaya
College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara and S N College, Vadakara conducted
a regional webinar on “Organizational Behavior: An Overview”, which focused
on general and specific aspects of organizational setting and its functioning.
Approximately 70 students from four different colleges attended the webinar.

The resource person was Mrs Linda U L, Consultant Psychologist. She began
her career as Child Psychologist, and has made remarkable contribution, as TTC
Psychology tutor and as an Assistant Professor at Presentation College, Paravur.
The webinar began with a small prayer, which was followed by welcome speech
by Head of Psychology Department and Organizing Secretary, Dr Milu Maria
Anto, presidential address by Vice Principal, Dr Simi Varghese, session on
“Organizational Behavior: An Overview”, by resource person, Mrs Linda U L
and vote of thanks by, MSc Clinical Psychology student, Ms Sandra Solomon.

During the webinar, the participants had the opportunity to answer the questions
hosted by the resource person and to raise their own doubts and questions.
Topics included: Organization, Organizational Behavior, Individual Behavior –
Personality, Perception, Learning & Reinforcement, Attitudes & Values, Work
Motivation, and Job Stress, Interpersonal & Team Process – Groups, Conflicts
& Negotiation, Leadership, Power & Politics, and Communication,
Organizational Processes – Organizational Structure & Design, Decision
Making & Problem Solving, and Organizational Culture, Organizational

Psychologist – Recruitment, Employee Training & Development, Employee
Satisfaction & Work Life, Performance Management and Organizational
Development & Management, Benefits. The session lasted for 2 hours and 30
minutes. The webinar was a very interactive and a successful one.
