Department of Human excellence, as part of its ongoing SKILL OLYMPICS series, International Youth Skills Day, organized a skill talk Webinar on the topic Skills and Success in association with the SCAS- World Youth Skill Month celebration on Friday, 23rd July 2021 at 1.30 pm. The program started with a silent prayer Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken extended a warm welcome to all and he pointed out the need and importance of skill excellence in human life and the great vision of SCAS in constituting a unique department of Human Excellence to excel her children. Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, the Executive Director of SCAS. In his Presidential address shared his valuable thoughts on the global importance of skill sets in career perspective as well as in day-to-day life. HOD of HED Mr, Savio Fernandez introduced the Chief Guest Ms. Joice Mary Antony MSW, a well-known motivational speaker, and Municipal Councillor. She has enlightened the students with a wonderful talk on life skills and the ways to acquire them. She encouraged all young minds to face the real world. Then in an interactive Q&A session, all the doubts cleared out. The students expressed their gratitude and feedback. Dr. Rani MJ, the Vice Principal of SCAS remarked on the concluding remarks as well as the activities of HED. Mr, Satish Nair, and Mr, Adithyan also expressed their views and insights regarding skill development. Mr. PR Adarsh, Asst. Professor proposed a vote of thanks.
