The Postgraduate Department of English, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara organised Speak Anglia sessions for OMC staff of the institution, on 13, 14, 15, 16, 20 & 21 February 2024 variously in room no. 024 (4 sessions), room no. 026 (1 session) and room no. 230 (1 session) of the institution. Each session was of 30 minutes duration, conducted from 2.05pm to 2.35pm. Second year MA English (2022 admission) students were the facilitators of the sessions. Assessment methods comprised assignment submission (23 February 2024), reading test (28 February 2024) and written test (13 March 2024). Syllabus preparation, lesson plan preparation, question paper setting, evaluation of assessments, invigilation duty and mentoring two OMC staff for Hyde Park session which is one of the professed outcomes of Speak Anglia were taken up by second year MA English (2022 admission) students. Sixteen OMC staff members attended Speak Anglia. Eleven students of second year MA English (2022 admission) coordinated the initiative along with the faculty coordinator Assistant Professor Sheena Sarah Winny.
