National Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2023 is a month-long effort dedicated to promoting cybersecurity awareness and education in the month of October. It aims to empower individuals and organizations to take proactive steps in safeguarding their digital lives, assets, and sensitive information. NCSAM emphasizes the shared responsibility of cybersecurity among all stakeholders.
The Department of Human Excellence conducted a cyber security awareness seminar THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK on 29th September 2023 at 1.30 pm in the Aulo Magna for the 2nd year PG students. Mr. Sathish Nair HOD Of HED, Presided over the event. Ms Rosalind Manjooran, Student counsellor led the Cyber awareness class focusing mainly on ‘ Educate Yourself’ based on IT Act 2000.
The second session was on Substance Abuse led by Ms.Arya Paulson, Soft skills trainer, gave an awareness of how substances affect our brain, how to stay away from it, how to make wise decisions, and cited examples of crime caused of substance abuse.
