Department of Geology, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies Kodakara in association with the Centre for Environment and Development, Trivandrum organized a lecture series “ENVIRON 2020 – NATIONAL ONLINE LECTURE SERIES” from 27th October to 31st October 2020. The Guest speakers were, Mr Anoop V.M, (Sr. Geologist, GSITI Hyderabad), Mr A.C Dinesh(Director – Marine Coastal Survey Division, Geological Survey of India (GSI), Mangalore), Dr K.K Ramachandran(Former Member Secretary KSCSTE & KCZMA, Scientist (Retd.), Consultant, National Centre for Earth Science Studies, Thiruvananthapuram) and Dr Priju C.P(Scientist, Centre for Water Resource & Development Management (CWRDM), Kozhikode). The event was inaugurated by Rev. Dr Devis Chenginiyaden, (Executive Director, Sahrdaya College). Prof. Davis K J, (HOD, Dept. of Geology) welcomed the gathering. Dr P O Jenson (Principal, Sahrdaya College) delivered felicitation. Dr K P Thrivikramji (Director, CED ) gave an outline about all the lecture topics. The objective of the lecture series was to consolidate the various concepts of Geology and their applications in the current scenario. E-Certificates were provided to all participants.
