The postgraduate department of Psychology and Human Excellence Department of the Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies Kodakara in collaboration with All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysore Karnataka organized a webinar on Communication Disorders on 7th July 2022 at 11:55am at the Seminar Hall. The resource person was Ms. Sharanya Arya, Audiologist All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore. The students of 3rdsem BSc Psychology, 3rdsem BA English and 2ndsem MSW participated in the webinar. The webinar was arranged through Google Meet with Ms. Sharanya joining from AIISH and the students participating in the webinar through the projector.
Ms. Sharanya talked about various disorders, the structure of the ear, the etiology of communication disorders, how deficits arise and also treatment and management of patients with communication disorders. The session ended at around 12:50pm with a vote of thanks by Ms. Chandini V Nair of 3rd sem BSc Psychology.
