A webinar on Higher Education for Plus Two students was conducted by the Department of Mathematics, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara, on 19th May, 2023 through Google Meet platform (link for the webinar:
https://meet.google.com/aun-rudk-ctz). The meeting commenced at 10.00 a.m. with a silent prayer. In the inaugural session that followed, Dr. Sheeba M. D., HoD,Department of Mathematics, SCAS welcomed the dignitaries, speakers, faculty members and students who have joined the meeting. Rev. Fr. Dr. Devis
Chenginiyadan, Executive Director, SCAS inaugurated the webinar and addressed the participants. Principal of SCAS, Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken, delivered the Principal’s Message. Dr. Rani M. J., Vice Principal, SCAS felicitated over the function. The speakers, Mr. M. V. Polachan, Career Consultant and Financial Advisor, Deputy Chief
(Rtd.), Sree Shankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady. And Formerly Deputy Chief, Agriculture University, Mannuthy, and Mr. Raju David C., Assistant Professor, SCAS and Regional Dy. Director of Employment (Rtd.) were then introduced. Mr. Raju David C. initiated the talk, inspiring the students by explaining the need of developing
good language in one’s career. He also introduced the new generation courses and various streams which can be chosen after plus two. Mr. Polachan carried over the talk explaining the rest of the courses along with various entrance exams. The speakers also briefly noted the esteemed universities and colleges in which the-
mentioned courses are offered. A doubt clearing session was followed, in which both the speakers cleared all the queries of the participants. The webinar concluded at 12.15 p.m. A feedback form along with the participation certificate was provided to the participants.
