Department of Physics conducted a webinar -“Neutrino Observations in India” on October 23rd, 2020 from 10.30 am to 11.45 am. The program started at 10.30 am with prayer by Harinarayanan (S5). The session was officially inaugurated by Rev.Fr.Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan (Executive Director, SCAS). Prof K P Chandrasekharan (HOD, Dept. of Physics) welcomed the gathering. Dr. P O Jenson (Principal, SCAS) delivered felicitation. Vidya V Menon (Asst. Professor, Dept. of Physics) introduced the resource person Dr. K Viswanathan (Senior Professor, Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Tamil Nadu). Dr. K Viswanathan gave a detailed analysis on Neutrino, Neutrino Observations, International scenario, and Neutrino observations in India. The session was concluded with a vote of thanks by Esmi Davis (Asst. Professor, Dept. of Physics). More than 70 participants attended the webinar.
