WHY DO I LOVE THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE?-An expert talk

The Cambridge Assessment English department of SCAS organized a seminar aimed at first year degree students and the Post Graduate Department of English focusing on the theme, “Why do I love the English language.” The event was held at SCAS seminar hall on 12 October 2023 at SCAS seminar hall and featured Prof. Shaji Pathrose , a renowned trainer from CILA, Angamaly, as the resource person. The seminar was thought provoking and engaging event that explored the reasons why students are drawn to the English language. Prof . Shaji discussed various aspects of the English language, its global relevance and the role it played in communication, education and professional growth. The presence of the distinguished guests the Executive Director Dr. Fr. Devis Chenginiyadan, the Principal Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken , the Vice Principal Dr. Rani MJ , the Dean of Arts, Dr. Sanil Raj J and the Centre Exams Manager Ms. Asha Sudheesh added prestige to the event, making it a memorable and valuable experience for all attendees.
