The NSS unit of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara organized a webinar on the topic “WOMEN EMPOWERMENT LAWS” which is undoubtedly a very important topic that is to be made clear to each and every one of our society. The webinar was conducted on 22nd July 2021 at 7:00PM. All the 50 volunteers of our NSS unit, PG students, NSS programme officer, Vice Principal and Principal actively participated in the session. We started our programme with a prayer song by Deena Mol (NSS volunteer). Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken (Principal, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies) welcomed everyone and acknowledged us with the importance of Women Empowerment. Dr. Rani M.J. (Vice Principal, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies) delivered felicitation with her strong words on need and importance of Women Empowerment. After that we came towards the main part of our programme, Adv. Suma. N (legal advisor, Sakhi-one stop center, Irinjalakuda) explained about the different Empowerment Laws, Section and Acts. It was really a great opportunity for all of us to attend a session which is of great social importance now. The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by Mikayel Johnson (NSS volunteer). It was a memorable and a remarkable session.
