The NSS unit CUSFNSS002 of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara conducted a health Awareness rally on the occasion of World Health Day, April 7th 2022.
Health awareness rally
It was conducted under the initiative of NSS coordinators Mr. Akhil Anto, Ms. Mariya Anto and Ms. Sreelekshmi N.R in association with Panchayat members, Asha workers and the Health Department of Kodakara Panchayat. The objective of the programme was to celebrate the World Health Day and to create awareness about this year’s theme “Our Planet, Our Health” among the people. The rally commenced from the Kodakara junction till the Panchayat Community Hall.
Flash Mob
Sri. Ambili Soman, Panchayat President Kodakara flag hoist the rally by addressing the importance of the day which was followed by a flash mob by the NSS volunteers. The flash mob helped in gathering the attention of a lot of people. The rally has been successfully completed and was concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Anna Grace Kallada, NSS student representative. 36 First year NSS Volunteers, 23 Second year NSS Volunteers and 3 PG students participated in the event .
