Department of Physics conducted a programme in connection with World Ocean day. Third year physics students of the department engaged the programme. The program started with a prayer at 1.30 pm in room no.213 (3rd Year physics class). Ocean day is observed on June 8 every year to spread awareness about the role of oceans on Earth. A power point presentation was done by Roshan T A (3rd Year BSc student).The theme for World Oceans Day 2022 is ‘Revitalisation: Collective Action for the Ocean’. With the ocean being an essential link that connects us all, it must be conserved through adequate measures. It has to be made sure that the ocean isn’t harmed anymore but rather revitalized. Anjana A ( 3rd Year BSc student) delivered a talk on the importance of ocean day. The session came to an end with a vote of thanks by Amal Sabu(3rd Year BSc student). The entire programme was compered by Gayathri P V((3rd  Year BSc student) .
