YLE CERTIFICATION CEREMONY

Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies witnessed an auspicious occasion on Monday, 16^TH January 2023. The Cambridge Centre of SCAS, IA401- Cambridge Assessment English, celebrated its First Anniversary in the campus – a golden feather onto the lineage of Sahrdaya. The Young Learners Exam (YLE) Certification Ceremony conducted along with it heightened the accomplishments of the Centre. YLE was held for the kids ranging from the age group of 7 years to 14 years. It was a proud moment for the Cambridge Centre as it was the very first initiative to propagate the importance of linguistic skills among kids with a lifelong valid certificate. They had undergone a Summer Camp KINDER LINGUA during the month of May 2022 in the campus of Sahrdaya and the YLE exam based on it, took place on 15th  October 2022. 13 students participated and all of them did become eligible for the certification. Mr. Kevin Harold Jude Coyne, Key Account Manager – South Asia – Cambridge University Press & Assessment was the Chief Guest. He congratulated the students and appreciated the Centre in being successful for the first step taken with a mission of spreading the importance of linguistic capability. Executive Director, Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyaden and Vice Principal, Prof. Rani M.J. also shared the happiness by giving away the certificates to the kids. Ms. Asha Sudheesh, the Centre Exams Manager of the Cambridge Centre, thanked Mr.Kevin for joining the event and also expressed gratitude to Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyaden for his wholehearted support to exalt the Centre.
