The Young Innovators Programme Inauguration was held on 26 June 2023 at 9:00 am in the central auditorium. The programme started with a prayer by college choir followed by welcome address by Dr. Hanna Joseph, YIP co-ordinator. The inauguration was done by Ms. Rajasree M.S, Senior Programme Executive and Mr. Manu Joseph, Thrissur District Co-ordinator, K-DISC by lighting the ceremonial lamp followed by inaugural address by Dr. Fr. Devis Chenginiyadan. Principal, Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken delivered the Presidential address followed by talk by Ms. Rajasree M.S. The Vice-Principals of the college Dr. Rani M.J and Dr. Joy K.L were also present during the function. Mr. Niranjan P.B, student co-ordinator, YIP proposed the vote of thanks.
The technical session was held classwise for all students of SCAS in various slots at Decennial Hall, PG Block on 26 June and 27 June, 2023. Mr. Manu Joseph was the resource person for the orientation session and Ms. Mariya helped the students with the registration process. Students were introduced about the concept of YIP through various examples and video illustrations. There was an interaction session with the students regarding idea generation. The session concluded with feedback by Ms. Deepthy Boban, YIP Co-ordinator.
