NSS Unit No . 291 of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies celebrated Constitution Day ( Samvidhan Diwas) in order to commemorate the day of the adoption of the constitution as well as to honour and acknowledge the contribution of the founding fathers of the constitution on 24 th November 2023. All the 100 volunteers of the college participated in the celebration with full enthusiasm. College Executive Director Rev. Father Dr. Davis Chenginiyaden addressed the students , he reminded the students about the importance of our constitution and its significance in the present situation.Principal Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken, Vice Principal Dr. Rani M.J and Dr. Joy K.L and all the faculty members witnessed the event. The Preamble of the Constitution was read by Principal and the students repeated it. The celebration helped the students as a reminder of the principles and values enshrined in the Indian constitution. NSS volunteers also participated in the programme reading of preamble and constitution quiz organised by Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
