My Bharat Cleanliness Drive
As part of the “My Bharat Cleanliness Drive,” NSS volunteers from Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies cleaned Irinjalakuda Railway Station. Mr. Rajesh E.D., the station superintendent of Irinjalakuda Railway Station, inaugurated the cleanliness camp, emphasizing that Indian Railways belongs to every citizen and that social cleanliness is as important as personal hygiene. He encouraged students to actively participate in such community welfare activities. College Executive Director Rev. Dr. Davis Chenginiyadan commended the students, stating that completing such activities enhances leadership skills. Principal Dr. Joy K.L., Vice Principal Dr. Karuna K., and Finance Officer Rev. Fr. Anto Vattoli also congratulated the NSS volunteers for responsibly fulfilling their social duty. After the cleaning, the volunteers lit lamps in celebration of the upcoming Diwali festival. NSS leaders Chandrakanth, Arulkrishna, Vaishakh, and Jaymohan led the initiative.
