The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) at Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara, is a vibrant platform that nurtures creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial skills among students. Established with the vision of promoting an entrepreneurial culture on campus, the IEDC encourages young minds to transform their innovative ideas into viable business ventures.

Through workshops, training programmes, product exhibitions, and industry interactions, the Centre provides students with hands-on exposure to the world of entrepreneurship. It aims to instill in them the confidence to become job creators rather than job seekers.

Guided by dedicated faculty coordinators and supported by various innovation-driven initiatives, the IEDC of Sahrdaya College continues to inspire and empower students to think creatively, act boldly, and contribute meaningfully to the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

SHORT TERM TRAINING COURSES

Dear Students,
Introducing “Earn while you Learn” programme.
We are happy to inform you that our college has registered as IEDC under the Kerala start up Mission. And this year in order to enhance the Entrepreneurship skill and possibility of our students to venture into self employment through startup, we have associated with Khadi and Village Industries Corporation to offer Vocational Training to our students. After succesful completion of these courses, the students will also get Project preparation and funding support from KVIC through which they can generate income while undergoing their UG studies.
In this context, interested first year students are expected to select any one of the following courses and fill in their interest in the Google form attached in the brochure.

3. Food Processing
4. Embroidery
5. Simple Chemicals (Soaps, detergents, lip balm Making)
