STUDENTS COUNCIL

The Student Council of SCAS is dedicated to enhancing the quality of student life both within the college and in the broader community. Under the guidance of Staff Advisors, council members organize and celebrate festival days, Arts, and Sports competitions. Union councillors serve as the voice of students in the affiliated University, representing their interests and concerns. As an elected body, the council holds the legitimate authority to advocate on behalf of students, addressing aspects of college life that call for collaboration between faculty and students. Beyond representation, the council is responsible for organizing all college events, including the annual highlight.

Objectives

  1. To instill in students the College’s vision and mission.
  2. To identify, evaluate, and recommend student perspectives on the development of Arts & Culture, Sports & Games, and other co-curricular activities.
  3. To support and promote various clubs and student groups.
  4. To encourage and initiate inter-departmental projects.
  5. To foster volunteerism as a core movement within the College.
