Work Experience:
As a research scholar at the Pondicherry University, carried out teaching assignments at the University.
- At the Department of French, School of Humanities, Pondicherry University, for the semester December 2016 to June 2017 for the graduate students of various departments.
- At the Department of International Business, School of Management, Pondicherry University, for the semester July 2017 to November 2017 for the first year Masters students of International Business.
- At the Department of International Business, School of Management, Pondicherry University, for the semester July 2018 to November 2018 for the first year Masters students of International Business.
- I have been taking online and offline French classes for students of all age groups starting from beginner level to advanced level learners as a self-employed French tutor for more than 5 years starting from 2020.
- I worked as French-English Interpreter for a leading multinational company Datamark for a period of 4 months from April 2025 to July 2025.
- I worked as Assistant Professor in French in Sri Krishna Arts and Science College in Coimbatore from July 2025 to December 2025.
Responsibilities :
- Handling classes of more than 90 students.
- Monitoring and maintaining the attendance records of the students and online updating to the administration.
- PreparinPreparing semester exam question papers followed by evaluation and publishing the results as per the evaluation grid.To train the students and to ensure that they have an optimal level of oral comprehension, speaking skills, written comprehension and writing skills.
- Assessment of students’ learning and grasping of the language, their skills of oral and written comprehension, as well as their oral and written communication competencies through viva voce examinations and other innovative audio, visual tools.
- To prepare and deliver lectures regarding various aspects of the French language including grammar, culture, civilisation, translation, linguistics, tourism and business-related French to the students.
- To design power point presentations as well as use other audio-visual tools like videos and short films, to help the students explore and engage with the French language at a deeper and panoramic level so as to ensure extensive exposure and immersion into the world of Francophonie.
- To facilitate the students in acquiring good pronunciation, grammatical correctness, spoken competency and written competency with correct French orthography as per the pedagogy of French as a Foreign Language (FLE).
- To allot and evaluate assignments from time to time throughout the duration of the course to ensure continual progress and learning.
- To conduct the French Viva voce examination and written exams for the students.
- To discharge invigilation duties during the internal examinations as well as the semester examinations.
