As a second outreach activity in the covid-19 pandemic, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara distributed prevention kits to the employees of MGNRE (Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Scheme) and the auto drivers of Kodakara Grama panchayath on preventive measures. SCAS organized this outreach program – Reach to the Unreachable at Kudumbasree Hall of Kodakara panchayath on June 08, 2020. An introductory speech was delivered by Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan, in which he pointed out the importance of the physical as well as psycho-spiritual well-being of individuals. Mr. T.R Prasadan President of Kodakara Grama Panchayath presided over the function. SCAS principal Dr. Jenson P.O handed over the covid-19 prevention kits to the panchayath president. Then the kits were distributed to the MGNR employees and to the Auto drivers. Finance officer Rev.Fr. Shaju Chirayath, AE of MNGRES Ms.Jalaja V.M, Vice President Ms. Sudha, all ward members as well as staff representatives of SCAS participated in the function. Mr.Joy Nellissery, member, ward IX proposed the vote of thanks.
