OBJECTIVES:
(1) To increase awareness among students about the importance of the environment and the need to protect it.
(2) To halt the degradation of ecosystems, and restore them to achieve global goals.
Environment day is celebrated worldwide on 5th June to create awareness among people about protecting the environment. Environment Day acts as a platform that helps create awareness about various issues that have adverse effects on the environment, like global warming & boiling, overpopulation, pollution, over use of plastic and crime against wildlife.In connection with world environment day , the department of human excellence conducted a class wise environment day quiz regarding environment facts for all students from 5th to 19th June.
Top two students from each class entered into the second level was conducted on on 27th July . The winners are Ganga A G third year BA Malayalam,2nd prize Ashwin S Sabu third year Bsc Psychology,Third prize Akhil David second year Bcom ACCA.saplings and plants were rewarded to them.
OUTCOME:
Helped to create an environmental awareness among the students .
