Excellencia – Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies conferred with autonomous status
Kodakara: Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies has been conferred with Autonomous status by the University of Calicut with the approval of the UGC. The announcement was made by Sri. Roshy Augustine, Minister of Water Resources, Govt. of Kerala, on August 11, in the college central auditorium, in a function presided over by Executive Director, Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan. The Minister congratulated the college for its commitment to international standards in academics and sports. Hon. Minister of Higher Education, Dr. R. Bindu said in her message that, in addition to academics, the college, which excels in sports, ensures that its students are ready to face the ever-changing world with an emphasis on skill development and human excellence. Hon. Minister of Revenue Sri. K Rajan, said in his message that the academic discipline and extracurricular excellence at Sahrdaya College are remarkable. Bishop Mar Pauly Kannookkadan laid the foundation stone of Sahrdaya Professional Academy. Sri. T.J. Saneesh Kumar Joseph MLA, inaugurated the Exam Control Room. He also felicitated the seven international sports stars of the 2025 pass out batch, university rank holders, and ACCA, CMA US and CA affiliates.

Thomas, Dr. Sheeba M.B, Prof. Dr. Sanil Raj J, PTA representative Nice Baby, Alumni Association representative Deepak S. Menon, Student representative Austin Binoy, and Programme Convener Dr. Swapna C. Kombath spoke on the occasion. This was followed by artistic performances by the students and a music programme led by the Red Band.
