The first council meeting of the Institution’s Innovation Council was conducted on 24 th March 2021 at 10.30 a.m. at AV room through online mode. The link for the meeting was https://meet.google.com/iqo-ogcq-qun. A total 30 participants were present both online and offline. The meeting started with a silent prayer at 10.35 a.m. The meeting was formally hosted by Ms. Carolin, the convenor of IIC. A formal welcome was delivered by Dr. Preeji K. P., the vice-president of IIC. Dr. Rev. Fr. Devis Chenginiyadan, the Executive Director, SCAS gave the keynote address. Fr. Devis detailed the new ideas, industrial revolution, AI, Data Science etc., and needs for future-focused projects. Presidential address was proposed by the principal, Dr. Jenson P. O., in which he introduced IIC and reminded the need for innovations useful for institutions as well as the society. It was followed by a PPT presentation by Ms. Parvathy G. Menon, president of IIC, detailing the various aspects regarding IIC. Members of IIC were introduced and welcomed. Mr. Varghese P. G., Deputy G. M. South Indian Bank, Irinjalakuda, external representative (FI/Bank/Investor/Angel Investor/VC), felicitated. A discussion followed, chaired by principal Dr Jensen P. O. and Ms. Parvathy G. Menon. The principal suggested to focus on activities to be done and decided the inauguration of IIC after April 15 th , 2021. Ms. Parvathy suggested to have an inspirational talk for the inauguration. The meeting concluded by a vote of thanks by Ms. Geetu Josi, innovation activity coordinator followed by College Anthem at 11.40 a.m.
