Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies organized an event ‘Gracias’ on 18th August,2021 to express heartfelt gratitude to the Manager, Msgr. Dr. Lazar Kuttikadan and our former Principal, Dr. Jenson P.O. The programme commenced with a prayer by Asst. Prof. Betsy of Chemistry department. Principal, Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken gave the welcome address. Thereafter, His Excellency Bishop Mar Pauly Kannookadan (Chairman of IDET) gave the presidential address. The event progressed with the relaunch of the College website. It was followed by the felicitation address by the Executive Director, SCAS, Rev. Fr. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan. He expressed his thankfulness to the Manager Dr. Lazar Kuttikadan and the former Principal, Dr. Jenson P.O. for their exemplary contribution towards the successful growth of the institution.
Considering the auspicious day of Onam celebration in the college, Onapattu was also organized by Asst. Prof. Hanna Joseph & Team. Following which Dr. Rani MJ , Vice-Principal, felicitated the event.
Further, the Executive Director, SCAS, Rev. Fr. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan presented a memento to the Manager, Dr. Lazar Kuttikadan and Finance Officer, Rev. Fr. Shaju Chirayath presented a memento to the former Principal, Dr. Jenson P.O.
Thereafter, Manager, Dr. Lazar Kuttikadan gave the reciprocation speech and expressed his high regards and deep respect towards the institution and its management. Former Principal, Dr. Jenson P.O. too in his reciprocation speech talked about the uniqueness of SCAS and highlighted the importance of various add on courses being taught in the College.
Dr. Joy K.L. , Vice Principal, SCAS proposed a vote of thanks and the event was concluded by the College Anthem.
