PG department of Commerce organized a seminar for Cooperation students on 18th December 2018 on the topic “MODERN TRENDS IN CO-OPERATIVE MOVEMENT”. The session was led by Mr. Sunil Kumar, Rtd.GM Palakkad District Co-operative Bank.
The seminar was conducted on the morning session from 11.00 am to 12.45pm, it started with a silent prayer followed by welcome speech of Ms. Rinu Devassy, Asst. Professor, Department of Commerce. It was a fruitful seminar for the students of Cooperation. He talked on the modern trends in cooperative sector and also provided information on the significance of studying cooperation and features of cooperative banks. The seminar gave an insight in to the cooperative banking. The seminar was concluded at 12.45pm with the vote of thanks by John Francis of Second Year B.Com Cooperation.
