Internal Quality Assurance Cell organised Multilingual Reading Competition for staff members on 19
June 2021 from 3.30 to 4.45 pm on Google Meet. The competition was organised to mark National
Reading Day. Dr.Fr.Devis Chenginiyadan, Executive Director opened the competition with Reading Day
message. 16 contestants made the competition vibrant. Passages from literary works in Malayalam,
Hindi, English, Gujarati, French and German, upresented by the contestants, trumpted the multilingual
competence of teaching and non-teaching staff members of the Institution. Dr.Mathew Paul Ukken,
Principal presented the Concluding Remarks and Ms.Sheena Sarah Winny, Head of PG Department of
English & IQAC Coordinator proposed the vote of thanks. Dr.Rani M.J, Dr.Abraham Joseph, Dr.Karuna K
and Ms.Sinimol PJ were the members of the judging panel. Forty staff members other than the
contestants attended. Ms.Metty Joby, Ms.Esmi Davis and Ms.Bency E.K secured the first, second and
third positions respectively. E-certificates were issued to the contestants.
