PG Department of English Language and Literature conducted one week Faculty Development Programme for the Faculty members of English Department from 23 April to 27th in the year 2018. Prof. G.S Ramakrishnan was the resource person of the FDP and the topic discussed was Pedagogy of English Literature on a duration of 21/2 hrs each day from 10.00.am to 12.30 pm. It was rich with fruitful and effective sessions where subtopics varied from general grammar to literary theory, criticism, literature, contemporary topics and so on. All the Faculty members were present on these days under the leadership of the HoD Prof .Verghese Kalliyath. FDP program was concluded on 27th April with a valedictory function in which one of the Faculty members of the department Ms. Sandhya Shankar proposed vote of thanks and with that the program came to an end.
