“Mastering Chromatographic and Distillation Techniques”

A hands-on workshop on “Mastering Chromatographic and Distillation Techniques” was jointly organized by the Department of Chemistry, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies and St. James College of Pharmaceutical Science, Chalakudy on 19 December 2025 at 10.30 a.m. at St. James College of pharmaceutical science. The programme aimed to provide practical exposure to essential separation and purification techniques. Participants received theoretical and hands-on training in steam distillation, paper chromatography, and column chromatography. The workshop enhanced student’s analytical skills and strengthened inter-institutional academic collaboration.
