SMART organised a seminar on the topic “cashless India” by Honourable Member of Parliament, Prof. Richard Hay along with Inauguration of all P.G batch for the academic year 2017-18. The programme was organised on Tuesday, 29th August 2017 at 2.30pm in the seminar hall.The programme commenced with prayer by college choir and welcome speech was delivered by Principal Dr. K.J Antony. Rev. Fr. Titus Kattuparambil presided the meeting and Vice Principal Dr. Rani M.J blessed the occasion by her presence. The function was inaugurated by honourable M.P Prof. Richard Hay, followed by inaugural address. The chief guest was honoured by handing over a memento by Rev. Fr. Titus Kattuparambil. The inauguration session was wound up by vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Delvin Jose, P.G representative. Post Inaugural session was led by our chief guest with a talk on the topic “Cashless India”. He spoke on the advantages of digitalisation in Indian economy after the demonetisation policy of the central government. He also created a deep insight on the role of youngsters in guiding the future of our economy and dreaming high for great achievements. The session was completed by a vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Kiranprasad of MSc Psychology.
