The NSS Volunteers of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies visited Sasthampoovam Tribal Colony situated in Vellikulangara as a part of an outreach on 30th November 2021.
The NSS volunteers did a financial, covid and women hygiene survey in the colony. The survey program was inaugurated by Ms. Aswathy Vibi (Mattathur Grama Panchayat President). Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken (Principal) did the welcome address. The Presidential Address was done by Fr. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan (Executive Director).
An interactive session between the executive director and village locals was held. The Special Guest was Mr. Sambudhha Majumder IFS (Divisional Forest officer, Chalakudy) After that food kits were distributed among the people. The needs of the tribals, education of children, food habits were enquired.
