The Department of Management Studies of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies successfully organized a three-day internship and training program on Digital Marketing from 29th to 31st August 2025 for BBA students. The program commenced with a silent prayer, followed by a warm welcome and introduction of the resource person by the Programme Coordinator, Ms. Seena A.O. The training was attended by 37 third-year BBA students and 10 second-year BBA students, reflecting strong interest and enthusiasm among the participants. The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Kumar Ram from MakeIntern IIM, a seasoned digital marketer with rich industry expertise. Over the three days, he shared valuable insights on various topics, including the steps involved in establishing a new enterprise, developing an entrepreneurial mindset, identifying market opportunities, building a brand, and applying effective digital marketing techniques. His systematic approach provided students with a deep understanding of both theoretical concepts and their real-world applications. A distinctive feature of the program was its hands-on learning component. Students were divided into groups and tasked with conceptualizing and developing their own brand ideas. They then applied the techniques learned—such as online platform utilization, content creation, and digital promotion strategies—to effectively market their brands. This interactive methodology encouraged teamwork, innovation, and critical thinking among the participants.
The three-day internship proved to be a highly enriching and engaging learning experience. Students not only enhanced their knowledge of digital marketing tools but also gained the confidence to apply these skills in practical scenarios. The department expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Ramkumar for his expert guidance and to Ms. Seena A.O for her effective coordination of the program. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Student Coordinator John Joseph from the third-year BBA.
