The Department of Management Studies, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, successfully organised a two-day workshop on Leadership and Presentation Skills exclusively for Third
Year BBA students on 27th and 28th July 2025. The sessions were led by Mr. Byju Vydhyar, an experienced corporate trainer with vast expertise in leadership development and communication strategies. The programme commenced on 27th July with a silent prayer, setting a positive tone for the event. Programme Coordinator, Assistant Professor Ms. Seena A. O., warmly welcomed the resource person and introduced the objectives of the workshop. The sessions were designed to empower students with the necessary skills to lead, collaborate, and present effectively in academic and professional environments. Over the two days, participants engaged in a variety of activities, including interactive discussions, group exercises, and case-based problem-solving tasks. These activities not only enhanced leadership qualities but also improved communication and teamwork among the participants. The resource person used real-world examples, role plays, and structured presentation techniques to make the sessions more engaging and impactful. Students actively participated in all activities and shared that the workshop was highly insightful and relevant to their future career aspirations. On the concluding day, John Joseph from Third Year BBA proposed the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the resource person, the organizers, and all participants for making the workshop a success. The event concluded with overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants, highlighting its effectiveness in preparing them for leadership roles in their professional journeys.
