World Blood Donor’s Day Observance

As part of World Blood Donor’s Day, the NSS Unit of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara, organized a voluntary blood donation camp in collaboration with IMA Blood Bank, Thrissur. Inaugurating the observance, the College Executive Director, Rev. Dr. Devis Chenginiyadan stated that students should become models of compassion through voluntary blood donation. Principal Dr. Joy K.L. appreciated the students who came forward to donate blood. Sri. Suresh Babu T.S., Technical Supervisor at IMA Blood Bank, spoke about the precautions to be taken during blood donation. The camp was led by IMA Blood Bank Medical Officer Dr. Pradeep Kumar and NSS Student Coordinator Arjun Krishna.

In recognition of its outstanding contribution in organizing five voluntary blood donation camps last year, the NSS Unit of Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies was honoured with an award by YMCA Thrissur.
