‘ജ്ഞാനോദ്യം 2K25’
The reopening day of the academic year 2025 at Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies (SCAS) was celebrated with a meaningful and well-structured program titled “ജ്ഞാന ാദ്യം 2K25,”symbolizing a new beginning in the journey of learning. The event was conducted on the morning of the reopening day, beginning at 9:00 AM, under the theme “New Dawn of Learning.” The program began with a short prayer to invoke blessings for the new academic year. This was followed by readings from holy scriptures: the Bible was read by Dr. Sr. Jessy George from the Department of Psychology, the Quran was read by Ms. Fidha from the same department, and the Bhagavad Gita was read by Ms. Surya from the Department of Malayalam.
Ms. Agile Mary from the Department of Human Excellence shared the Thought for the Day. Dr. Swapna C. Kombath, Head of the Department of Malayalam, delivered insights into the event’s title and encouraged students to ignite the spark of learning within. Rev. Dr. Fr. Devis Chenginiyaden
shared his vision for the college, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, values-based education, and the holistic development of students. Updates for the academic year 2025–2026 were presented by Dr. Joy K. L., Principal of SCAS, while financial updates were
communicated by Fr. Sibin Vazhapilly. Dr. Karuna K., Vice Principal, offered words of appreciation and encouragement to the staff and students. Her felicitation acknowledged the contributions of all and inspired everyone to strive for excellence. All new faculty members were formally welcomed by the management during the event. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, invoking a sense of unity, patriotism, and collective purpose as the academic year officially commenced.
